About me
Malika Bindra is a Squamish-based artist and film photographer whose work is rooted in close observation of the natural world. Living between ocean and mountains, she draws inspiration from the interconnected lives around her—from the quiet relationships between slugs and moss on the forest floor to the more visible ties of birds and berries, salmon and bears, shifting skies, and the people who move through these landscapes.
Working across printmaking and film photography, she creates layered imagery that explores cycles, reciprocity, and the often-unseen relationships that sustain place. Her practice is deeply informed by the landscapes, plants, and wildlife of British Columbia, which she documents and shares through hand-printed works and archival film prints.
