This hand-carved block print depicts the iconic Tantalus Mountain range, a familiar and awe-inducing sight along the Sea to Sky Highway. Carved and printed by hand, the piece captures the rugged forms and shifting light of the mountains we always pause to marvel at while passing through. The layered textures and imperfect edges reflect both the physical landscape and the slowness of the printmaking process.
8 × 10 Printed on Fine Art Paper
This design began after I spotted a saw-whet owl and couldn’t stop thinking about it.
One of the smallest owls native to B.C, saw-whets are quiet, resilient, and easy to miss if you’re not looking closely. I carved this block print in response to that moment — drawn to their softness and strength.
The original print is now available as a love card, perfect for bird lovers, nature enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates something a little different.

Feed is a hand-carved relief print exploring nourishment, cycles, and quiet observation. The circles may read as berries or offerings—something the birds and insects feed on, from which the flowers grow. The flowers in turn support the birds and insects, creating a shared balance of giving and sustaining. Below, the moon watches over the scene with flowered eyes, holding the rhythm of growth, decay, and renewal. Printed from the original carved block, the piece carries the organic texture of the hand-printing process.
